Change of Pace

 

Here's a traditional commish to get me outta that digital lull. My camera is pretty terrible and these photos don't do the final work justice. Created with acrylics/oils and took three days to complete. Way more enjoyable than sitting in front of a computer all day...

This is the good ol' master Splinter. I wanted to mix up the background on this. All my others have been strictly character pieces with no thought of the BG at all. I envisioned this character in Feudal Japan practicing in the country side. Warm colors were involved in the creation of this one...
