What to Draw?

I realized the other day it had been a year or so since I last drew my absolute favorite subject, the surfer. There is something about the harmony of man and wave that I find irresistible to draw. This is also the first one that I colored in the computer. Coloring the surfer was really a lesson in patience. It took a lot of effort to consciously hold back all the detail. I wanted him to be very simple as he clashed with the hectic force of the wave. The wave itself is all over the place like a Jackson Pollock. Not sure if that's what I intended, but I like how it came out. Till next time.
