Chief

I just got this book on the artwork of Charles Marion Russell and it just really inspired me to create some Native American art of my own. Of course, he did these great oil paintings scenes of the old west. Check out his work if you wanna be inspired.

Also another inspiration is the totally awesome character design of Big Chief from Disney's Peter Pan.

Hope all is well.

A chat with Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho is one of my favorite writers and the author of one of my top books of all time, the Alchemist. Here, Blogger Tim Ferriss (http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/) was lucky enough to ask Mr. Coelho about his daily routine, writing mechanics and overall insight into the authors inner-madness.

Enjoy!

The Lion King

Today I had to break free from the work projects to create

my own piece. Not knowing what I'd be drawing, so this is what my hand spit out. Still, the Lion King is one of my all time favorites. I guess this would be my take on the either Mufasa or Simba. I didn't really try to make it look like either one, just knowing there design was an influence is enough. Hope you digs.

Dark Hadou

My take on Akuma from the Street Fighter series. Not sure why it's taken me so long to draw my favorite character from the franchise.

I drew the black and white version about a year ago and was iffy about it's progress and never colored it in. I came back to the character a year later, and it's interesting to see the different choices I've made in his design. I guess that's progress. At least I hope it is.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest

Hey Gang,

So yesterday Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest came out on the PS3's Move. I was lucky enough to have contributed some artwork, mainly character and concept design to the game. The cover art, alone has a number of my designs. :)But, I finally got to see and play my creations after almost a years worth of work. Overall, really fun and exciting stuff. I haven't been able to post any artwork, but perhaps I will soon enough. Always a bit annoying when you create something cool and aren't allowed to show it off.

So if any of you have a PS3 and a Move check out the game!

Here's a link to the IGN's review of the game: http://ps3.ign.com/objects/110/110704.html
